The Brick of the Heart Project is an international project that aims to build a hospital and an emergency room in Medjugorje which will be called "Peace Hospital" to help those most in need, of any ethnicity and religious faith. At a time of great tensions throughout the world, due to conflicts between different ethnic groups and religions, this first emergency hospital in the history of Medjugorje can represent a great message of international peace and solidarity. In fact, we want to create a building of nine hundred square meters on a single floor, where there will be the Emergency Room, with the emergency surgical rooms, and the surgical orthopedics department, with rooms for diagnostic equipment, x-rays and ultrasound. There will also be a small cardiology ward to try to save people in red code affected by heart attacks or severe collapses, and other outpatient clinics for emergencies. The works will be coordinated by Italian architects (architect director Vittorio Gugole, Studio Danti Alighieri Verona), Italian engineers and master builders of construction companies connected to the Olympics of the Heart Onlus Association.
