ADMO Piemonte ODV is a Volunteer Association present throughout the region with Operational Offices and contacts coordinated and assisted by the Regional Secretariat, based in Villar Perosa (TO), where its registered office also resides. Thanks to the activity of the volunteers and the funds raised through fundraising events and campaigns, it carries out information and awareness activities to achieve its goal: to ensure that every patient waiting for a bone marrow transplant (5 every day only in Italy) can find a compatible donor and have a new Life Expectancy! We are part of ADMO Italian Federation and we carry out our regional activity in synergy with the competent health authorities and in a network with the main associations in the area.

Since 1990 we have been presenting and promoting the Culture of Bone Marrow donation for patients with blood cancer in need of transplantation, providing information on the subject, carefully illustrating how to join the register and any donation in the event of genetic compatibility and implementing concrete initiatives. registration in the Register of Donor Candidates. The chance for a patient to find the right donor is 1: 100,000: for this reason the more potential donors there are, the more patients can be saved thanks to a successful transplant. Recently, together with the health system, we have designed and implemented an innovative enrollment method that allows candidates to carry out the necessary procedures from their home.
